REM TRITON Full Trash Capture Device Filter (FTC) – The TRITON TDAM-PERF-FTC Trench Filter (Patent Pending) is an effective and economical solution for Municipal Regional Stormwater NPDES Permit (MRP) permitees to achieve no visual impact from trash. Easily installed immediately below the grate in trench drains and in catch basin inlet structures, the filter utilizes a patented linear media cartridge system that effectively removes pollutants from stormwater. REM Triton Filters are an approved standalone Full Trash Capture (FTC) device. REM’s TRITON Trench Drain PERF – FTC Filter utilizes a perforated stainless-steel screening system that effectively removes trash and debris 5mm in size or larger from stormwater runoff. Appropriate for municipal, retail and commercial applications, the filter is available for all sizes and shapes of trench drains and catch basins. Media strategy may be custom configured for specific pollutant concerns.

TDAM-tc-deviceThe REM TRITON TDAM PERF-FTC devices are gravity fed vertical cartridge system, which treats flow laterally through a perforated stainless-steel housing.
The REM TRITON TDAM PERF-FTC Trash Capture devices utilize a patented stainless-steel vertical media cartridge system that houses a type 304 Stainless Steel Perforation. Perforated Stainless Steel is configured with a 4.8 mm opening, and a 51% Open Area as per the California State Water Resources Control Board specification. The TDAM filters are available in a variety of lengths to meet most trench drain sizes and lengths.
The TDAM PERF-FTC Trash Capture devices may also house replaceable filter media packs that treat stormwater for pollutants in addition to trash, including liquefied petroleum hydrocarbons (Fats, Oils & Grease including animal fats) and Total Suspend Solids (TSS) such as sediment, silt, vegetative debris.
The TDAM PERF-FTC may be utilized in both new construction or retrofitted in existing trench drains.

REM TRITON TDAM PERF-FTC Trash Capture devices are modular in design allowing for maximum capturing capacity in virtually any size or shape trench drain or catch basin structure. A variety of cartridge sizes are scalable to maximize filtered treatment flow rates.
REM TRITON TDAM PERF-FTC Filter devices can be teamed in a battery series providing multiple stages of filtration effectively polishing flow. (REM recommends installing one REM TDAM filter every 4 to 6’ along the length of the trench drain.)
The TRITON TDAM Filter™ system treats large volume of runoff without impeding the hydraulic capacity of the drain. The filters are configured with an “overflow bypass” to release water during heavy rain events that exceed filter flow-through capacity.
The sides and bottom of TRITON TDAM Filters™ are buffered with neoprene gaskets to create a tight seal along the inside walls and floor of the drain negating “low flow” bypassing the filtration system.
